30 Arrests Made After Vandals Leave OC Mall 'Almost Unrecognizable'
The Westminster Police Department has been hard at work responding to numerous calls made regarding vandals in a shuttered mall.
WESTMINSTER, CA — The Westminster Police Department has been hard at work after numerous calls were made to the department regarding vandals at a recently-shuttered Orange County mall.
The once-bustling Orange County mall is "almost unrecognizable" after being vandalized several times since its closure, NBC Los Angeles reported.
The Westminster Mall is now the site of graffiti, according to video captured by the broadcast publication.

A man, identified only by the pseudonym "Same1," told NBC that he was at the empty plaza overnight Wednesday when he say about 60 people inside.
On Tuesday, the Westminster Police Department reported that officers had partnered up with property owners and onsite security to target trespassing and vandalism inside the mall.

The effort resulted in 30 arrests being made, according to the department.
"The Westminster Mall is closed and no persons are allowed inside," the WPD said in a statement. "The Westminster Police Department will be conducting full enforcement for any criminal activity committed at the mall."
