One More Angel in Heaven, One More Star in the Sky

Sorry to report that the love of my life has died, Lt. Colonel Roy Jones, retired U.S.Marine Corps.

Next month I would have been married 56 years to a charming man who was special to me. We have traveled all over the world, to 150 countries, and he was active with Los Altos Rotary and several other organizations. Our travel agency was an active collection for Toys for Tots for the U.S.Marine Corps, and I wrote a weekly travel article for PATCH, and Roy enjoyed reading my draft, and I will miss him.

He has been in Hospice, for the last three months, and looked after by Cedar Crest Nursing Center in Sunnyvale, California. His heart just gave out.

Love will pour down from Heaven, like sunshine.

He will have a Military funeral, gun salute, U.S.Marine Corps carrying his casket in the National Cemetery.

Prayers from travel colleagues all over the world, from the church, and the community have been a big help in my sorrow. He would be pleased that people were thinking of me. Little "Mo" is at rock bottom right now.
