Only in London

A city as big as London has something to appeal to everyone, no matter what your taste is.

I've been to London more times than you have had hot dinners. I never get tired of going, and always go to see what's on so I am up to date. My sister is always ready to join me in London and we go exploring together. Westminster is home to

Westminster Palace and Westminster Abbey . I try and go to the Sunday organ recital at 5.p.m. at the Abbey, an outstanding event. Other attractions in the area including Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, St.James Palace and 10 Downing Street, home to the Prime Minister.

Other iconic city attractions range from the thousand year old Tower of London, (where the Crown Jewels are kept - a must see )to the London Eye, which offers a 25 mile view of London from its peak.

Other classical attractions are St. Paul's Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe Theater, a must see for any theater fan, and Poet's Corner, inside Westminster Abbey. Sports fans will want to visit the Chelsea Football Club's museum and book a stadium tour. Tennis fans should make a point of visiting the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. London has some of the best museums in the world from the grand (like the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British museum) and admission to many of these places are free.

Side by side, just off Trafalgar Square is the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery. Some of the smaller museums cater to more unique interests such as the Royal Air Force Museum. The Household Cavalry Museum in the heart of Royal London at Horse Guards celebrate the history, heroes and exploits of the British Army's senior regiment from its origins in 1661. Visitors can see troopers in the stables preparing their horses, and try on real helmets and armor. They can also visit the daily Guard Change on Horse Guards and Guard inspection or mounted sentry changes on the hour. History buffs will want to explore the Church War Rooms which are kept exactly as they were during World War 11.
