Pair Found Dead Inside Los Altos Home ID'd
Officials have identified a man and woman found dead during a welfare check this month but are still working to learn what happened.
LOS ALTOS, CA — Authorities have identified a man and woman whose bodies were found during a welfare check at a Los Altos home this month as an investigation into what led to their deaths continues.
Officers conducting a welfare check at a home on West Edith Avenue discovered the bodies on Jan. 16. This week, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office identified the victims as Steven Hooper, 74, and Chris Cryer, 66.
The coroner's office is still investigating the cause of death and awaiting toxicology reports, officials said Monday.
