• Former behavioral therapist gets 17-year sentence for sexually assaulting a girl with disabilities in Riverside (pressenterprise.com) — A 23-year-old Los Altos resident has been sentenced to 17 years in state prison for sexually assaulting a young girl with disabilities during a therapy session in Riverside. The case, resolved by plea agreement, also requires lifetime sex-offender registration, underscoring serious legal consequences for a crime committed outside but involving someone from Los Altos.
