• Los Altos Scout's Eagle Project benefits seniors (losaltosonline.com) — A Los Altos Scout from BSA Troop 30 capped 2025 by leading an Eagle project that created 12 handmade fidget blankets for seniors at Mountain View’s Avenidas Rose Kleiner Center. Using a simplified, collaborative design, Sophie Nguyen and her team tailored colorful, tactile blankets and wall hangings to support patrons with anxiety, dementia and other challenges, earning heartfelt thanks from the center’s community.
