• Los Altos' GreenTown hosts creek and highway cleanups (losaltosonline.com) — Los Altos’ own GreenTown is organizing regular creek and highway cleanups, focusing on Adobe Creek, the Permanente Creek Diversion Canal, and the I-280 ramps at Magdalena Road. Volunteers, many of them local students, help remove everything from tennis balls to odd roadside junk, with more cleanup events expected this spring and easy signups through GreenTown’s website.
