• Fligor has large lead in Santa Clara County assessor race (sanjosespotlight.com) — Los Altos Vice Mayor Neysa Fligor holds a strong lead to become Santa Clara County’s next assessor, a role that will shape property tax bills and funding for local schools and services. Early results show her well ahead of opponent Rishi Kumar in a low-turnout holiday runoff. Whoever ultimately wins will finish the current term and then likely run again in 2026.
