Dead Animal

• 9:16 a.m. , 1600 block of Dallas Avenue; dead squirrel, information relayed to Palo Alto Animal Services

Gas Leaf Blower

• 9:44 a.m., 00 block of Marvin Avenue; gas leaf blower complaint, subject contacted and advised
• 9:47 a.m., 2000 block of Crist Drive; gas powered leaf blower complaint, quiet on arrival

Family Disturbance

• 10:26 a.m., 1400 block of Elnora Court, assault and battery case taken in a mother-son altercation, said Agent Frank Bañuelos. The incident occurred when the son grabbed his mother’s wrist when she refused to give him money for cigarettes. The mother did not require medical attention, and the son had left when police arrived.

Theft

• 11:36 a.m., 911, 160 First Street (Safeway); lost or stolen wallet, located inside store. A wallet initially thought stolen was found by the reporting party in a nearby shopping cart, Bañuelos said.

Suspicious Vehicle

• 11:58 a.m., 2000 block of Longden Circle; suspicious vehicle, driver contacted
• 12:19 p.m., 1300 block of Ranchita Drive; suspicious person, subject located, unfounded 
• 3:26 p.m., 1400 block of Wessex Avenue; suspicious vehicle reported, driver contacted
• 12:33 a.m., 4294 El Camino Real; suspicious vehicle, unoccupied, no crime occurring

Found Property

• 12:00 p.m., 400 block of Distel Drive; lost property, out-of-state driver’s license from Minnesota

Medical Call

• 1:04 p.m., 911, 100 block of Yerba Santa Avenue; invalid assist, transferred to Fire Department

Malicious Mischief

• 4:41 p.m., 600 block of Parma Way; malicious mischief, cold report, vehicle window damaged, unknown cause, no entry to vehicle

Check on Welfare

• 8:46 p.m., 4598 El Camino Real (Peet's Coffee & Tea); report of homeless person in the bathroom for 45 minutes, contacted the subject and he was advised to move along

Patrol Check

• 8:52 p.m., 600 block of Palm Avenue; patrol check, suspicious person, information passed on to officer to check area
