LOS GATOS, CA — Residents may learn how to use one of the most important tools in their homes Saturday during a neighborhood meeting hosted by the Santa Clara County Fire Department.

The fire agency will be teaching how to use a fire extinguisher, then fire up the grill during a town barbecue. The neighborhood meeting is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Civic Center located at 110 E. Main St. in Los Gatos.

The session also serves as an ideal opportunity to learn about the networking team approach of the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Community Emergency Response Team, which works in coordination with Neighborhood Watch groups.
