Grand Reopening At Los Gatos' Youth Science Institute Nature Center
The renovated nature center will include several interpretive and interactive displays.
LOS GATOS, CA — The Youth Science Institute Nature Center in Los Gatos announced this week that it would have a “grand reopening” on May 28 at Vasona Lake County Park.
The renovated nature center will include several interpretive and interactive displays. There will be an imagination play area for children to explore nature, a magnetic wall displaying the park’s ecosystem that is inhabited by a variety of wildlife and plant species, a chalkboard tree, a wildlife habitat display and live animals.
Animals include Western Pond Turtles, American Bullfrog, Western Toad, Pacific Gopher Snake, California Newt, and California Mountain Kingsnake.

The grand reopening is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 28.
The center is located at 333 Blossom Hill Road, and it is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
