SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Local governments and nonprofit organizations in Santa Clara County can now apply for grants to host community Fourth of July fireworks displays, as part of an initiative to encourage safe and responsible celebrations.

The county has allocated $25,000 in funding, with applications open through April 6, 2025.

Each of the county’s five supervisorial districts will award up to $5,000 in grants, which may be split between two applicants. To qualify, events must be family-friendly, open to all county residents, and include a fire safety educational component.
