LOS GATOS, CA — Los Gatos High School junior Hannah Slover won the high jump competition at the CIF State Championships on May 27-28 in Clovis.
Slover’s jump of 5-feet, 6-inches earned Los Gatos High School its first individual state track and field championship since 2014, according to the Los Gatan.
Slover is actually a standout volleyball player and this was just her first year competing in track and field, according to the Mercury News.
