Los Gatos Man Identified In Fatal Santa Cruz Crash
The man lost control of his vehicle Saturday night on the hilly Soquel San Jose Road. The crash is under investigation.
LOS GATOS, CA -- A man suspected of drunk driving in a fatal Santa Cruz County crash on Saturday has been identified as 45-year-old Luciano Patino Bracamontes of Los Gatos, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.
He was driving a 2007 BMW 328i at about 10:20 p.m. on the mountainous Soquel San Jose Road south of Old Turnpike Road when he lost control of the car. The vehicle overturned and crashed into a tree, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Patino Bracamontes and his 42-year-old passenger were taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose. Patino Bracamontes was pronounced dead a short time later.
