Los Gatos' Quality Of Life Gets High Marks In 2022 Community Survey
The 2022 Community Survey found that 97.2 percent of respondents said Los Gatos was an excellent or good place to live.
LOS GATOS, CA — Nearly all residents in Los Gatos believe the town is either an excellent or good place to live and to raise children, according to a survey of 650 residents commissioned by the town.
The 2022 Community Survey, which will be discussed at a council meeting Tuesday, found that 97.2 percent of respondents said Los Gatos was an excellent or good place to live, which is nearly double the national average for both categories.
The most important services to residents were police services (55.4 percent) and maintenance of streets, sidewalks and infrastructure (52 percent).

Reducing traffic congestion was the highest priority in terms of investment opportunities for residents, with nearly 62 percent of residents ranking that as their first option. Nearly 40 percent said infrastructure like maintaining streets, sidewalks and storm sewer systems was a priority, followed by increasing neighborhood police at 37.7 percent.
