Los Gatos Seeks Volunteers For Coastal Cleanup Day At Creek

Slots are open from 9 a.m. to noon through the Creeks Connection Action Group to help clean Los Gatos Creek.

LOS GATOS, CA — The public is invited to help clean up the Los Gatos Creek as part of Coastal Cleanup Day on Sept. 18.

Slots are open from 9 a.m. to noon through the Creeks Connection Action Group. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes and a hat, and to bring a mask for when social distancing is not possible.

Cleanup supplies like gloves and bags will be provided on site. Because the creek at the site contains steep side slopes, participants under the age of 16 are not recommended to volunteer.
