PG&E To Host Wildfire Risk Gathering In Los Gatos
The Aug. 7 community gathering is intended to discuss ways in which local citizens may learn about averting wildfire risk.

LOS GATOS, CA — Pacific Gas & Electric is hosting a series of regional open houses relative to wildfire safety, including one in Los Gatos scheduled for 6 p.m. Aug. 7.
The History Club of Los Gatos is putting on the community forum intended to discuss ways citizens may learn about wildfire safety and emergency preparedness. PG&E representatives will be on hand for the drop-in gathering located at 123 Los Gatos Blvd.
PG&E has been under fire for its role in recent Northern California wildfires ignited from the utility company's equipment.

Pockets in the west hills of Santa Clara and San Mateo counties have been identified by Cal Fire as a high-hazard risk for wildfire, especially during hot summer days.
