Report: Los Gatos Couple Abused Russian Son

LOS GATOS - A Los Gatos couple admitted to investigators they sexually abused an adopted Russian boy shortly after he arrived in their home at the age of nine.

In an exclusive ABC7 I-Team report, reporter Dan Noyes says the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office failed to actively pursue the case after they received a complaint in 2012.

ABC7 says 71-year-old Ralph Melvin Flynn and his wife, 44-year-old Carolyn Fen Flynn, face 44 charges involving their son. Court records show the charges include continuous sexual abuse of a child, unlawful sexual intercourse and incest.

According to the report, Flynn would sometimes abuse the son inside his Rolls Royce while it was parked in the couple’s garage, though there were other people at the family’s Los Gatos house.
