Earthquake Hits SoCal Friday Afternoon, Did You Feel It?

An earthquake off the Malibu coast jolted the region Friday afternoon.

MALIBU, CA — A magnitude 2.1 earthquake epicentered off the Malibu coast lightly jolted Southern California Friday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake hit at 2:44 p.m. and was centered just off the coast near the Ventura-Los Angeles County line, according to the USGS.

The temblor hit at a depth of 7.6 miles.
