MALIBU, CA— Jodie Sweetin married her long-time partner, Mescal Wasilewski, in an intimate backyard wedding in Malibu on Saturday, People reported.

After five years together, the couple tied the knot in her husband's brother's backyard surrounded by friends and family. Sweetin and Wasilewski strayed from extravagant wedding traditions to go for a more "eclectic" and intimate feeling, she told People.

"It means a lot to the family. I wanted it very intimate and all of that," Sweetin told People. "It looks like we like pulled the furniture out of the house and I want like, twinkle lights and ... wildflowers."
