Malibu Restaurants Welcome Guests Back For Dine LA Restaurant Week

As the Malibu community recovers from the Palisades Fire, several restaurants are welcoming guests back in time for Dine LA.

MALIBU, CA — As Malibu recovers from the destruction caused by the Palisades Fire, several local restaurants have reopened in time for Dine LA Restaurant Week. They're among hundreds of local restaurants offering special menus and prices as part of the twice-annual event, which includes a wildfire-benefit component this time around.

The lineup includes three eateries in Malibu offering special prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus at a range of price points from $15 to $65+:

Countywide, there are some 400 participating restaurants representing 30 global cuisines, according to Dine LA.

As the region recovers from the recent wildfires, Dine LA producer LA Tourism will donate $5 to the American Red Cross for each reservation made through the Dine LA website, with a match from Banc of California, for a total donation of up to $100,000, organizers said.

Parts of Malibu faced destruction from the Palisades Fire. Moonshadow's, Rosenthal Wine Bar & Patio, Cholada Thai and Reel Inn are among the restaurants that were destroyed by the fire.

For those left untouched by the fire, the focus has been on cleaning up from any smoke or ash impacts while supporting the community and firefighters who remain on the front lines of the Palisades Fire.

Dine LA participant Carbon Beach Club at Malibu Beach Inn reopened on Friday, its management said on social media.

"Since last Thursday, our dedicated staff has worked tirelessly to clean, remediate and prepare the hotel for this moment. Their hard work and commitment have been nothing short of extraordinary, and we are deeply grateful for their efforts," the post reads.

The restaurant is serving lunch and dinner daily and offering a 20% discount to anyone impacted by the fires.

Dine LA runs from Jan. 24 to Feb. 7.
