Man Hit, Killed By Tanker Truck On PCH In Malibu: Reports

The incident closed the highway for nearly five hours, according to reports.

MALIBU, CA — A man was hit by a tanker truck on the Pacific Coast Highway early Friday morning, according to reports.

Authorities have not released any information on the man's identity, the reports said.

The man was hit on the highway about 6:35 a.m. near the intersection with Cross Creek Road, KTLA 5 reported.

The driver of the tanker truck that hit the man remained at the scene and was interviewed by authorities, City News Service reported.

The Pacific Coast Highway was shut down for about five hours while the incident was investigated, KCAL CBS News reported.
