The two-car collision occurred around 9:02 p.m. Tuesday near 23120 W Mulholland Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Two people were declared dead on the scene, and another was treated and transported to the hospital, according to LAFD.

According to police, a person was driving a Toyota Camry eastbound at a high rate of speed when the car rear-ended a Ford Mustang, killing its two occupants.

Kevin Gonzales, 21, was hospitalized following the crash and later booked on suspicion of murder, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. He was held on $4 million bail, police said.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office withheld the names of the fatally injured people, described only as males, pending positive identification. But acquaintances and employees identified them to media outlets as Bullo and his son.
