Mudslides, Debris On Road, Spark Pacific Coast Highway Closure

MALIBU, CA — Mudslides and fallen debris blocking the roadway after Saturday's rain have sparked a closure on the Pacific Coast Highway.

According to the California Department of Transportation on X, the PCH is closed in both directions between Sunset Boulevard and Carbon Beach Terrace and will remain closed until Sunday, with "much mud" to clean up at Tuna Canyon Road.
