Mark Hamill And A French Bulldog Star In Malibu's New PCH-Safety Music Video
The video also features a theme song recorded by Kenny Loggins collaborator Rick Cowling.
MALIBU, CA — Mark Hamill, Kenny Loggins collaborator Rick Cowling and a French Bulldog named Gertie are among those imploring motorists to slow down on Pacific Coast Highway in a new music video debuted by the city of Malibu.
The video was released as part of "Cruise Malibu — Surf, Sand, Slow," a safety education and awareness campaign. The effort aims to enlist Malibu residents to help promote safe driving on PCH and address the dangerous conditions that have led to over 60 people dying on the road since 2011, according to the city.
The Cruise Malibu effort was designed by community members, Pepperdine students, law enforcement and city staff. The music video features an original theme song produced by That’s the Sound! Productions and recorded by Cowling, the lead guitarist, vocalist, bassist and keyboard player for Loggins.
