Interested as you may be, I have extended my sincere thanks to the nearly 5,000 NextDoor readers who responded favorably to my recent Aftermath Musings that began with the personal remarks that it was frankly hard to focus on the Los Angeles Fire when an arsonist was in the White House trying to burn down Democracy.

But despite the overwhelming positive response, the content arbiters deleted the post, presumably pressured by a few trolls accusing me of suffering from what has been defined by Wikipedia as TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome, a term that suggests Trump's opponents are irrational or incapable of accurately perceiving the world.

Conversely, I suggest that they and others, including a majority of Congress, are victims of an alternate “TDS,“ a Trump Disinformation Sickness, a term that suggests they are “fools or cowards,” a phrase used by a DOJ lawyer describing acolytes mindlessly supporting the attacks on our Constitution.

And more than mindless, indeed cruel, and as I may suggest, unChristian, is the White House cheering the muskrats nit picking and nickel and dimming humanitarian programs such as US AID.

However true the alleged malfeasance past Administrations, it does NOT excuse cutting off the aid, the medicines, food, and simple bed netting combating the malaria and other diseases killing hundreds of thousands of children world-wide; in effect, committing murder, just as if you were standing above a crib, pointing a pistol at an innocent.

I ask, and I dare you to answer me, how can you can live with that being the consequences of your politics.
