Results 'Normal' for Mold Tested at Malibu High

The school district announced it was bringing in another team of experts to examine possible connections between musty classrooms, pesticide-laden dirt and an unusual number of cancers and other illnesses.

The first classrooms tested for mold at Malibu High School showed normal results, school officials said Friday, as they announced that additional experts would be brought on board to look for possible causes of illness or cancer among teachers and students.

The school district announced it was bringing in another team of experts to examine possible connections between musty classrooms, pesticide-laden dirt and an unusual number of cancers and other illnesses. A cancer expert from USC has been hired as a consultant, according to the district.
