Water Main Leak Could Cause Outages For Some Malibu Residents

MALIBU, CA — Some Malibu residents could be impacted by water service outages during repairs to a leaking water main, the city announced just after 9 a.m. Thursday.

The Los Angeles County Waterworks District 29 said the water main leak occurred around the 6400 block of Via Escondido Drive. Crews were working to repair the leak as of Thursday morning.

The city said customers impacted by outages are being notified. Traffic will not be impacted by the repairs.

The city said it is unclear when water service will be restored. This story could be updated.
