2 Arrested For Suspected Mail Theft In Manhattan Beach
Detectives were working to contact the victims of the theft.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Two people were arrested early Thursday morning for allegedly stealing mail from a Post Office in Manhattan Beach, police said.
A resident notified police around 4 a.m. after witnessing the crime in progression at the Post Office in the 400 block of 15th Street, Manhattan Beach police Sgt. Tim Zins said. Jose Artenga, 24, and Paula Inda, 30, both of Los Angeles were apprehended at the scene, he said.
"A search of the suspect vehicle revealed several pieces of stolen mail from Manhattan Beach residents," Zins said. Police also found rope and glue traps in the suspects' possessions, he said.

"The rope and glue traps are commonly used to fish out mail from mailboxes," Zins said.
Detectives were working to contact the victims of the theft.
