Assaults, Auto Theft, Burglaries: Manhattan Beach Crime

Bicycle theft and residential burglaries were among the crimes reported.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —During the week of March 15-21, police received reports of three assaults, two burglaries, one auto theft, and seven counts of theft.

Auto Theft

A case of auto theft due to an unlocked door was reported on March 18 on the 3200 block of N Sepulveda

Residential Burglary

An open garage is to blame for a residential burglary that took place on March 21 on the 2800 block of Ocean Dr.

In a separate incident, jewelry was stolen from a home on the 500 block of 33rd St.

Theft

There were three separate incidents of bikes being stolen on March March 17, 19, and 20 on the 2400 block of Palm Ave, 2200 block of Grandview Ave, and the 200 block of 38th Pl.

Another report of a catalytic converter being stolen was reported on March 17 on the 2900 block of Palm Ave. A case of shoplifting took place on March 16.

On March 19, police report a set of keys were taken from an El Porto parking lot, and a package was taken on the 400 block of 34th St.

Assault

One case of assault was reported on March 18 at the location of 13th and N. Ocean Dr; while two cases occurred on March 20 at the 400 block of 24th St and the 900 block of N Sepulveda, respectively.
