Auto Theft, Shoplifting, Burglaries: Manhattan Beach Crime

Bicycle theft and residential burglaries were among the crimes reported.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —During the week of March 22-28, police received reports of one commercial burglary, two cases of shoplifting, one auto theft, and eight counts of theft.

Auto Theft

A case of auto theft was reported on March 27 on the 1400 block of 6th St.

Residential Burglary

Jewelry was stolen from a home on the 800 block of 11th St.

Theft

There were three separate incidents of bikes being stolen. Two took place on March March 23 at the Pier and on the 1900 block of N. Sepulveda Blvd. The other occurred on March 28 on the 3100 block of Pacific Ave.

A purse was stolen on March 25 on the 1700 block of Artesia Ave.

On March 27, police report a set of keys being taken on March 27 on the 400 block of Manhattan Beach Blvd.

Two cases of shoplifting alcohol took place consecutively on March 26 and 27 on the 400 block of Manhattan Beach Blvd.

Burglary

A window was smashed at a commercial building located on the 3600 block of N. Sepulveda Blvd on March 28.
