MANHATTAN BEACH PIER ILLUMINATED IN SUPPORT OF UKRAINE
MANHATTAN BEACH PIER ILLUMINATED IN SUPPORT OF UKRAINE
Manhattan Beach, CA (March 3, 2022) - The Manhattan Beach Pier will be illuminated in blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian national flag, as a symbol of solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

In support for Ukraine, cities across the world are lighting symbolic landmarks, city halls, and historic buildings.
“Manhattan Beach stands with cities throughout the country and the world in condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine,” said Mayor Hildy Stern. “Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Manhattan Beach Pier will be illuminated blue and yellow in support of the Ukrainian people who have exhibited incredible courage and bravery in the face of this outrageous crisis."
The Pier lights will be active through dawn on Monday, March 7.
