MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Thinking of starting your July 4th weekend early by heading out to the beach. Here's your outlook on surf conditions for Friday from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.

Look for a modest scale mix of long-period SW swells and short period NW swells to continue to roll in with consistent waves in the knee-waist-stomach high zone.

There will not be much change in surf size throughout the day, but light to moderate westerly winds will ruffle conditions during the afternoon.
