MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Getting a jump on the weekend by heading to the beach Friday? Here's your outlook on conditions from Surfline via the South Bay Dawn Patrol.

Southwest to south-southwest swells continues to provide widespread surf in the solid range with better breaks going chest-to-head high with larger sets pushing overhead.

The winds are looking even more favorable compared to Thursday with widespread light-to-variable wind in the early morning trending to light to locally moderate west to soutwest wind for the afternoon.
