The MBPD has released a crime report for August 5-11.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Crime in Manhattan Beach was down a bit during the period from August 5-11, according to a crime report released by the Manhattan Beach Police Department. The report lists 2o incidents with a significant increase in overall thefts.
Assault
There were three incidents of assault reported between 8/7-8/8 occurring on the 1100 block of Tennyson St, the 900 block of Manhattan Ave, and the 3500 block of Highland Ave.

There was one report of miscellaneous damages on 8/6 during a burglary on the 2700 block of The Strand.
Auto Theft

There were three reports between 8/6-8/11 on the 42nd St and Ocean Dr, the 500 block of 21st St, and the 900 block of N Valley Dr.
Robbery
There was one report on 8/9. A purse was stolen on the 1200 block of Rosecrans Ave.
Theft
There were 12 incidents reported between 8/5-8/11, including five reports of stolen catalytic converters, three reports of stolen bikes, and three reports of shoplifting.
