Here's The Latest Crime Report From Manhattan Beach Police Dept.

The MBPD has released a crime report for August 12-18.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Crime in Manhattan Beach was down a bit during the period from August 12-18, according to a crime report released by the Manhattan Beach Police Department. The report lists 18 incidents with a significant increase in overall thefts.

Assault

There was one isolated case reported as a family dispute on 8/17 on the 1500 block of 6th St.

Burglary

There was one report of an e-bike being stolen from an open garage on 8/16 on the 100 block of 35th St.

Robbery

There was one report on 8/17. Alcohol was stolen on the 1800 block of Rosencrans Ave.

Theft

There were 12 incidents reported between 8/12-8/17, including four cases of stolen Catalytic converters, two cases of stolen e-bikes, and a stolen wetsuit.

Vehicle Burglary

Two cases occurred between 8/12-8/16. A window was smashed on the 1400 block of 9th St and a wallet was stolen on the 4000 block of Ocean Ave.
