Illegal Pills Discovered During Routine Traffic Stop
Manhattan Beach police arrested two suspects on drug-related charges, officials said.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Two male suspects were arrested in Manhattan Beach early Saturday morning on multiple drug charges, officials told Patch. The incident took place at 3:16 a.m. during a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation.
"While speaking to the occupants, the officer discovered that one of the men was on probation," Manhattan Beach Officer Chris Inequez said.
The officer conducted an investigation of the suspects' vehicle which led to the discovery of multiple bags of illegal pills. "In total, approximately 1300 grams of illegal pills were taken off the streets," Inequez said.
