Lakers Star Buys South Bay Home For $25M: Report

The custom home was bought from tennis legend Maria Sharapova, according to a report by the Orange County Register.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — South Bay residents shouldn't be surprised if they see Lakers star Luka Dončić out and about in Manhattan Beach.

After all, the 26-year-old All Star just bought a Manhattan Beach home last month, according to a report by the Orange County Register.

The home was sold by tennis legend Maria Sharapova, who bought the property in 2012 for $4.1 million, according to the report. The Japanese-inspired home is three stories tall, has five bedrooms, a pool and a bowling alley, according to the report.

Dončić, who was traded to the Lakers last season as part of a deal that sent Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks, paid $25 million for the home, according to the report. Shara

The purchase also comes after Dončić agreed in August to a three-year extensionwith the Lakers worth $165 million.
