Manhattan Beach Hosts Annual Veterans Day Multi-Generation Celebration

The event, now in its 19th year, starts at 11 a.m. and celebrates all veterans from any generation.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- To celebrate and honor those who served our country, the Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Veterans Day Multi-Generation Event at Veterans Monument on Friday.

The event, now in its 19th year, starts at 11 a.m. and celebrates all veterans from any generation. It also features the city's official band, The Hyperion Outfall Serenaders, as the opening entertainment act.

Manhattan Beach Mayor Tony D'Errico will be giving the opening and closing remarks. Following the ceremony, there will be light refreshment and live music at the Joslyn Community Center, 1601 Valley Drive.
