Manhattan Beach: Support Cedars-Sinai During Matching Donations

The Alan B. Slifka Foundation is matching donations made to Cedars-Sinai dollar for dollar up to $75,000 for Valentine's Day.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach residents have the opportunity to "show your love for the healthcare heroes of Cedars-Sinai," according to an email from the hospital. "And now your gift can have twice the impact! Thanks to the Alan B. Slifka Foundation, your gift today will be matched dollar for dollar up to $75,000."

Cedars-Sinai says donations help "provide essential needs for our employees, such as counseling services, on-site meals, groceries and gift cards to purchase food at the medical center. Because some schools and daycares are closed, your support may also help provide childcare to employees who are working tirelessly with patients in need of care and treatment."

"Thank you to our community who have supported us the last year. We know you’ll continue to support us, and we value everything you’ve contributed. And we know you’ll stay by our side as we continue to fight this pandemic and work together."
—Joni Stokx, Cedars-Sinai ICU Nurse
