The Mira Costa Mustangs boys baseball team beat Elsinore, 5-3, Tuesday to advance to the CIF Southern Section Division III finals at Dodger Stadium Friday at 2 p.m. where they will face Serra High School.
Grant Livornese hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning to break a tied game. Serra wallopped Diamond Bar, 10-2, to advance in CIF play.
