Pandemic Kitten, Bichon Frise Share A Snuggle: Photo Of The Day

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A cold rainy day brought Bichon Frise Apollo and one of his housemate together for this super cute photo by Dr. Leanna Wolfe. "They don't usually snuggle together but in that moment it was raining and they nestled together to warm up," said Wolfe, who, in 2013, found him running loose around Lake Balboa. The kitten, Max, was born during the Pandemic on April 1. Wolfe adopted him along with his littermate at the end of May.

For Wolfe, who calls Van Nuys home and usually travels much of the year, the pandemic and a broken elbow acquired while walking Apollo in early March, 2020 turned into a year like no other. She managed to keep her circle tight and take a few small trips that added to her photographic repertoire, displayed nicely in a calendar she created for 2021.
