Suspect Flees From Fatal Hit-And-Run In Manhattan Beach
The Manhattan Beach Police Department is searching for a suspect believed to have fled from a car crash that killed one and injured several.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach police are searching for a suspect they believe is responsible for a hit-and-run crash that killed one and injured several.
Manhattan Beach Police Department officers responded to the crash in the 300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard at approximately 11:25 p.m. The crash occurred between two vehicles and injured several people, police said.
Paramedics took three people to a local trauma hospital to receive treatment.

"Despite life-saving efforts by medical personnel, one victim succumbed to their injuries. A second victim is currently undergoing surgery, and their condition is unknown at this time," MBPD said in a statement.
Police identified a driver involved in the crash who fled the scene as the suspect. According to MBPD, Kameron Lee Peterson, 32, was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
