Suspected DUI Driver Taken Into Custody Following Pursuit
A suspected DUI driver was taken into custody in Los Angeles Tuesday after leading police on a pursuit in the South Bay.
HAWTHORNE, CA — A suspected DUI driver was taken into custody in Los Angeles Tuesday after leading police on a pursuit in the South Bay.
California Highway Patrol units began pursuing the driver in a white Audi SUV about 5:55 p.m. on the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Torrance area.
The suspect exited the freeway in Gardena and led police on surface streets before heading north on the Harbor (110) Freeway at Rosecrans Avenue.

The suspect stopped a short time later on the shoulder of the freeway near El Segundo Boulevard and surrendered to police without incident.
