49ers' QB Saw Dead Body From Hotel Balcony Before Rams Game: Report

As the team left for the stadium, players saw a coroner's van arrive, according to The Athletic.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA — San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Mac Jones had a very eventful Thursday, according to The Athletic, which reported that in addition to scoring two touchdowns to bring the team a 26-23 win over the Rams, he also saw a dead body in the water from his Marina del Rey hotel room.

Jones was on the balcony when he spotted the body floating, The Athletic reported, adding the police were called and as the team left for the stadium, players saw a coroner’s van arrive at the marina.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told The Athletic on Friday that the case remained under investigation.
