Here are five things to start off your Tuesday in Marina del Rey:
- Residents throughout the county were affected by crash on the Venice Boardwalk. Follow Venice.Patch.com for the latest news surrounding the crash, suspect and victims.
- Southland motorists should be prepared for some afternoon traffic headaches Tuesday, when President Barack Obama makes a short visit to Los Angeles to appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Obama is scheduled to land at Los Angeles International Airport at 3:25 p.m. and be in Burbank for the taping with Leno at 4:30 p.m., according to the White House.
- The West Los Angeles Community Police Station will help host National Night Out Against Crime, featuring food, live music and a screening of "Wreck-it Ralph" as part of Movies in the Park.
- Performances will continue of A Parallelogram, a play about a woman who believes she can see into the future. The production will continue through Aug. 18. at Mark Taper Forum at the Music Center, 135 N. Grand Ave.
