Compton Man Reported Missing in Long Beach Found in Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY, CA -- A Compton man reported missing in Long Beach was found Thursday in Marina Del Rey, authorities said.

James Thomas Wilson, 47, was found at around 9 a.m. Thursday and reunited with his family, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. Deputies did not disclose how Wilson was found or what he was doing in Marina Del Rey.

Wilson, who is developmentally disabled, went missing while on his way home to Compton. He was last seen Tuesday evening leaving his workplace in Long Beach, according to the sheriff's department.

His disappearance caused a concern for this friends and caregivers as Wilson is unable to care for himself.
