Local Clinic Creates Obesity Infographic

A weight clinic at the Marina del Rey Hospital gathered obesity statistics and compiled two inforgaphics.

L.A. Bariatrics created one graph that summarizes the obesity epidemic in the U.S., and another that depicts the costs associated with it, which total $92.2 billion, according to the clinic.

The graphs also show the cost of obesity by insurance status and the cost to patients suffering from obesity-related conditions.
