Robbers Pistol-Whip Man in Marina del Rey Apartment
The victim is hit with the butt of a gun during a robbery early Friday morning at the Mariners Village apartment complex.

Two men pistol-whipped a Marina del Rey resident early Friday morning during a home invasion robbery, authorities said.
The robbery occurred about 12:45 a.m. at the Mariners Village apartment complex in the 14000 block of Old Harbor Lane, said Sgt. Pauline Panis of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Marina del Rey station.
Two men entered the apartment complex at gunpoint and stole some of the victim's personal items. The victim also was struck in the head with the butt of a gun, Panis said.
Two women were with the man when the robbery occurred, Panis said. Detectives were continuing to investigate the case Friday morning and were trying to determine whether a second man was with the victim.
The man who was pistol-whipped declined medical attention and was not taken to a hospital. No one else was injured.
The victim's house was ransacked, Panis said.
No arrests have been made.
