Residents of Del Rey who want to become decision makers in their community can file a candidate form for one of seven executive board positions or one of the eight area director positions.
The filing date ends Sept. 28, and those interested can download a form here.
The Del Rey Neighborhood Council has created an online map that allows residents to figure out what zone of Del Rey they live in by typing in their address.

DRNC President Eric DeSobe has also created an online video tutorial to help residents use the new function. The tool also shows points of interest in each area.
Elections will be held on Oct. 28 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Marina del Rey Middle School.
